Girona
Custom Motorcycle Centre can count on a team of professionals
which have acquired extensive experience from many workshops all
over the world. Luis, who is a mechanic by profession, saw his
first Electra Glide in ´79. When he CAME back from the military
service he joined Corver in Barcelona, who at that time were distributors
of Morini, Laverda and Benelli, although he also imported Harley.
There he CAME across his first books from the Harley workshop,
so he learnt English to be able to understand them. In February
´88 he left this job and started at Import Pagès,
official distributors for Yamaha and BMW.

He
specialized in BMW, attending courses at BMW Iberica in Madrid.
In ´92 he took charge of the repair workshop of Girona
Harley Davidson. The responsibility of working with the Milwaukee
beauties, made him go to York, the new assembly plant of Harley
Davidson, where he was lucky enough to connect with the people
working there and who taught him all the processes needed to
build motorbikes. After this stay, Luis went to Daytona, where
he took more mechanics´ courses which then finished his
training |

Then
he went to Sweden to negotiate with the maestro of travel bags
T-Bags, where he was taught to see the world from another point
of view. On 15th. December ´98 he rented 4 walls and put
a start to his dreams and on 1st. January the new premises of
Girona Custom Motorcycles were inaugurated.

These
premises are on 2 floors. On the ground floor we find the workshops
and on the first floor there are all kinds of complements four
you and your motorbike. The success of this project is owed to
the effort put in by Luis and his partners and colleagues Luis
Recasens and Ricard Huelamo.
